The Challenge: Breaking Barriers to Opportunity
Millions of Americans face systemic barriers that keep them from achieving stability and reaching their potential. Without intervention, these barriers create cycles of poverty, recidivism, and lost talent.
1
Justice-Involved Individuals
  • 70M+ Americans carry a criminal record
  • Unemployment rate: 27% (5x the national average)
  • Legal restrictions, stigma, and lack of skills limit opportunities
2
Veterans
  • 200,000+ transition to civilian life annually
  • 1 in 3 struggle to translate military skills to careers
  • Many face cultural adjustment and lack of support networks
3
Underserved Youth
  • 4.9M disconnected from school and work (ages 16–24)
  • Higher risk of poverty, justice system involvement, and long-term instability
“The greatest waste of our natural resources is the number of people who never achieve their potential.”
- Charles M. Schwab

The U.S. loses an estimated $78 billion annually in productivity due to these barriers.

Why It Matters?Behind every number is a person ready to contribute if given the chance.
